1 C flour
1/2 C sugar
1/2 C packed brown sugar
1/2 t salt
1/2 t baking soda
1/2 C shortening
1 egg
2 T milk
1/2 t vanilla
1 1/2 C oats
1 C raisins/chocolate chips/butterscotch chips (optional)
Mix all ingredients together. Place balls on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.
